The Canadian has just released the list of designated hotels for the mandatory 3-night hotel stopover quarantine required of all travelers entering through Canada’s various airports.
There are 5 appointed hotels for the province of Ontario, located in the area close to Toronto’s Pearson Airport, Alt Hotel Pearson Airport, Fairfield Inn & Suites Toronto Airport, Four Points by Sheraton, Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport and Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Toronto International Airport. Specific protocols shall be in place in order to address covid-19 prevention.
Canadians are strongly advised to cancel or postpone any non-essential travel plans, including vacations, outside Canada. Foreign nationals should likewise postpone or cancel non-essential travel to Canada.
The hotel stopover bookings are managed by GB Travel Canada Inc., and are available by phone only. Those with flights to Canada within the next 48 hours should already call to make reservations secured with a payment. Advance reservation is encouraged as phone lines are expected to be very busy.
All travelers are urged to review all information and regulations in line with the mandatory stop-over, travel restrictions and requirements before pushing through with travel plans.
