Community Mental Health
The National Mental Health Institute estimates that by the age of forty, one in two Canadians will have experienced mental illness. As the demand for mental health services continues to rise, the need for qualified practitioners is becoming more vital than ever. With Durham College’s (DC) Honours Bachelor of Community Mental Health (HBMH) degree, students will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and expertise to support individuals, organizations and institutions in a variety of mental health related areas, and make a significant contribution to the health and well-being of our communities. — Durham College
