Construction Techniques
In this program, students develop hands-on skills and gain experience in a variety of construction-related skilled trades. Using project-based learning techniques, students focus on applying the basics of entrepreneurship and sustainability within the construction industry. Students are introduced to a variety of construction focused courses including carpentry, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical techniques, small engine mechanics, drafting and heating and cooling. In addition, students prepare to make informed decisions related to the next steps in their education and careers. — Georgian College
