Environmental Land Management – Canadian Context

Throughout this intense program you will gain: expertise in supporting the planning development of lands according to municipal, provincial and federal legislation and industry standards/procedures; practical experience in conducting environmental assessments and environmental impact studies; knowledge of industry standards for collection and analysis of water and soil samples in the field to aid in the study and modelling of environmental problems; the ability to present spatial information using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications; and project management skills as well as negotiation, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills to achieve goals within land use development projects and associated plans. — Fleming College
