As one of the first ECO Canada accredited environmental programs in the country, Trent’s B.E.S.S. degree is renowned for developing well-rounded graduates. Students in this unique joint degree take courses from across both the arts and sciences, offering a more holistic and integrated approach to studying the environment.

Our 100+ course options offer classroom and hands-on lab or field experience opportunities, where you’ll learn techniques and approaches for examining environmental problems and solutions from top researchers and scholars.
