Office Administration – Health Services

In this program, students will develop the necessary skills to offer proficient administrative support in various healthcare settings, including private medical practices with a focus on Electronic Medical Records (EMR). The curriculum covers specialized areas such as medical transcription and Ministry of Health OHIP billing, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of administrative functions in healthcare. An exclusive aspect of the program involves attending presentations from the McMaster Department of Surgery, providing valuable insights from experts in the medical field. Furthermore, participation in the annual resume fair by St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton creates networking opportunities and enhances students’ employability in the healthcare sector.
