Power Engineering Technician

Throughout Canada only certified Power Engineers are permitted to operate, maintain, and manage equipment such as boilers, compressors, turbines, and refrigeration units. Lambton College’s newly renovated closed loop 107 KW power generation plant operates exclusively as a training facility and is located in the Centre of Excellence in Energy & Bio-Industrial Technologies. This is the only training unit of its kind in Ontario and students work collaboratively to generate and operate the power plant.
