Aspiring international students of Canada attended a series of events in partnership with Canada Designated Learning Institutions, Northern Lights College (British Columbia), and Sault College (Ontario). The first leg of the event happened at SMX Convention Center in SM Lanang Premier last January 21st. The iCanada team and school partners next visited Cagayan De Oro City on January 27th at the Seda Centrio Hotel. Capping the series on a high, the team traveled to Iligan City on January 28.
Guests learned more about the student pathway process and how an education upgrade in Canada can help them access exciting opportunities in Canada. The event featured school options in the top provinces of Canada, allowing guests to evaluate where they could best meet their education goals and experience life in Canada. Ms. Jaymeeh Rojo of NLC shared great news about their newest campus in Chetwynd where interested Business Management students can enjoy waived application fees and scholarships. Aside from sharing what life is like in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario; Ms. May Lingao of Sault College also had exciting offers for incoming students.
Video greetings and testimonials of students currently in Canada were shared during the event. Students assisted by iCanada, they shared their positive experiences about life so far in Canada. An informative Q&A session was part of the day’s highlights. Guests proceed to have one-on-one consultations with the team and school representatives, to find out the best recommendations for their career objectives.
